Community Hike (Vol. 8)

✅ INTRODUCTION:

The hike is guided by one of the WHISPER team members, a hiking guru: Mohammad Al Khalaileh. 

We will start the hike from Budakeszi, Hidegvölgyi pihenőház bus stop. We'll hike in a circle through the forest to the spectacular views at Csergezán Pál-kilátó and back. Most of the trail is shaded, so there's minimal exposure to the sun.

Total Distance: 13 km

Level of difficulty: Moderate

Hiking Time: 5.5 hours.

❗️If you are coming by bus:❗️

☑️ Meeting time: 10:30

☑️ Meeting point: Széll Kálmán tér, platform 2. Next, we'll take bus # 795 at 10:55 to Budakeszi, Hidegvölgyi pihenőház bus stop. We can buy the tickets from the machine or the driver, around 450 ft one way.

❗️If you are coming by car:❗️

☑️ Meeting time: 11:10

☑️ Meeting point: Budakeszi, Hidegvölgyi pihenőház bus stop (Nearby parking lot at Vadászlak parkoló).

☑️ Finishing point & time: Budakeszi, Hidegvölgyi pihenőház bus stop around 17:00.

✅ EQUIPMENT:

Before you lace up your boots, let's review some best practices to ensure a safe and enjoyable hike. We advise you to prepare the following:

☑️ comfortable hiking shoes, which secure your feet properly. Avoid sandals or sneakers, which don't provide enough support or protection.

☑️ layered clothing according to the weather

☑️ water (bring 1,5-2 times more than for a normal weekday)

☑️ mosquito repellent.

☑️ enough food for the whole day to keep you energized

☑️ leave no trace: pack out all the trash and show some love to nature.

☑️ Safety first! Stick with the group and inform the organizers if you need to step away for any reason.

✅ TICKETS:

☑️ 3,000 HUF / person with REGISTRATION.

☑️ 4,000 HUF / person ❗️WITHOUT REGISTRATION❗️. The purpose is to encourage you to pre-register because knowing the accurate participant count helps us optimize the organization.
